As founder of her self-titled holistic skincare range, Antonia Burrell is a facialist and one of the UK's best-loved skincare products.

The Antonia Burrell Holistic Skincare collection is a 100% natural blend of potent, predominantly organic, pure, bio-active plant extracts that respect and understand the true physiology of beauty.

Radiant, healthy looking skin cannot be achieved if the mind is not calmed and nervous energy diffused Antonia is passionate about retaining the work-life balance and says 'Meditation and prayer provide me with focus for the day, allow me time to reflect and visualise. I think it's just as important to stop each day and offer gratitude for the life I have and the people in my life who continue to make it special'.

As with her skincare regime, Antonia likes her diet to be natural. 'I eat a lot of raw, green food and I don't eat cakes or have desserts even when out at dinner or lunch, she says.

How did the creation of your brand come about?

I used to work as Head of Retail for Sanctuary, Regional Business Development at Aveda and I taught the chemistry of aromatherapy at the London College of Fashion. I decided to launch my own beauty clinic and three years later I had three!

I then decided to start my own skincare line using 100% natural plant form based on sustained requests from clients and listening to skin concerns discussed by my clients.

What is your philosophy and how does your range reflect this?

My range is founded on the principles of Pure Plant Formulae, Botany, the Chemistry of Aromatherapy and a deep understanding of physiology coupled the basic appreciation that some of the most powerful skin elixirs can be wholly derived from a once living, breathing plant.

The collection is based on pure, honest, holistic skincare that works and that combine organic extracts with clinically proven bio actives to provide solutions and give customers flawless, younger looking trouble free skin. All of my products are housed in violet glass to prevent UV rays penetrating and damaging the bio-active ingredients.

Aside from your business - what are you passionate about?

I love spending time to just 'be'. I love city escapes in Europe or in the middle of the depth of the countryside for the weekend, I adore cooking and entertaining and there's often dinner parties and social gatherings at my place at the weekend. I'm also passionate about music.

I love a good opera or sometimes attending live concerts or listening to music whilst relaxing with magnesium flakes in the bath

My bed! I relax, recharge, have fun and dream my dreams into reality.
