Hair and Beauty Instructor - Alternative Provision

Location: Preston Days: Mondays & Wednesdays Start Date: 1st September Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Part-time (2 days/week), ongoing

Pay: 100 - 150 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive Alternative Provision to recruit a passionate and skilled Hair and Beauty Instructor.

This exciting part-time role is to begin on Monday 1st September.

About the Role:

You will be working with young people who may face barriers to mainstream education, delivering engaging and hands-on hair and beauty sessions that help develop both practical skills and confidence.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, offering students a creative outlet and a potential future career path.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience teaching or delivering Hair and Beauty sessions (in schools, colleges, or salons)
• Be confident working with students who have additional needs or challenging behaviour
• Hold relevant qualifications in Hair and Beauty
• Be enthusiastic, patient, and resilient
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
