The 4* Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel and Resort is recruiting for a dynamic Leisure Club Manager. Located on the stunning Solent Coast, at the edge of the New Forest, the hotel lies within 23 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and offers a range of conference suites as well as Vital Health & Wellbeing Leisure Club.

This role will suit candidates who are already in a Management role within the Spa & Leisure sector however we also welcome applications from those who have reached Leisure Supervisor roles who are looking for the next exciting step in their career.
Experience in a similar role/environment and knowledge of the Spa business is preferred

As this is a seven day per week operation, a degree of flexibility is required to cover weekends, bank holidays and some evenings.

The Leisure Club Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our Spa & Leisure guests receive the warmest Macdonald Hotels welcome and the best five star service throughout their Spa & Leisure experience.
The successful Leisure Manager will lead and motivate the fitness team to deliver an exceptional level of service and attention to detail through the delivery of Company core standards and on-job coaching.
Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, the Leisure Club Manager will be responsible for achieving business targets through actively promoting leisure membership sales; maximizing sales opportunities in-line with national and local marketing initiatives; maximizing profit opportunities through robust sales activities, effective diary management, Leisure direct debit management, referrals and effective rota management; recruitment, training and development of the team; daily and weekly reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs); ensure a clean and safe environment at all times through good daily operational management of the team and strict adherence to Company and legal health & safety standards.

To ensure compliance with the Health & Fitness strategy to achievement in the four key business drivers of people, product, process and profit.
