Job Title: HR & Talent Officer, UK & Ireland

Reporting Line: HR Director, UK & Ireland

Reports: Talent Acquisition Assistants and Talent Acquisition & Development Assistant

• This is a critical role that acts as a key support function and point of coordination across all workstreams within the HR function.

• Responsible for driving talent acquisition strategy and delivery, whilst supporting the talent development function.
• Supporting the broader HR remit with complex administration matters, policy and procedure review and improvement, reporting, and ad-hoc projects.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Full accountability for the recruitment of all new employees.
• Oversee a small team of Talent Acquisition Assistants to provide exceptional resourcing support across all parts of the Group, including Retail.
• Act as the lead point of contact on all Corporate recruitment, providing administrative support for more senior roles, and leading the overall hire process for more junior roles.

  Develop an innovative approach to resourcing through links with external organisations. Continually review resourcing suppliers and methods to improve candidate attraction, quality, selection and ultimately time to hire and fit-for-role. Analyse recruitment metrics to improve key KPIs such as cost to hire / time to hire.

• Act as a SuperUser for the ATS, and ensuring the ATS delivers to the needs of the business.
• Where necessary, support the team to prioritise according to organisational priorities.

2 Support the wider HR team

• Manage all HR administration for Corporate employees across the Group
• Ensure the implementation of best practice, HR policies and procedures, in partnership with team members across other workstreams.

• Support the HR Administration function as required, based on peaks in workload, including coordination of admin relating to employment relations matters, as required.
• Key point person for HR reporting; creating, maintaining and updating HR reports as necessary. Collating and managing reporting from other team members, as per reporting schedule.

3 Support the Talent Development function

• Both personally and through the Talent Acquisition & Development Assistant, provide administrative and project based support to deliver Talent Development objectives.
• Support with the creation and preparation of training materials for Development Calendar activity.

• Oversee the effective evaluation of training undertaken, both immediate and longer-term, to present training effectiveness metrics.
• Support with training, leading training sessions as appropriate.

4 Ad-hoc projects

• Support the team and wider organisation with ad-hoc projects as they arise.

• Assist with salary survey data, EMEA data requests, research and analytical support, as required.
• Assist with HR budget expenditure, ensuring invoices are authorized, recorded and paid.
