Part Time 26 hours per week Mon off, Tues - 9. 00-13.
00 (4 hrs), Wed - 8. 30-16. 00 (7 hrs), Thurs - 9. 30-20. 00 (10 hrs), Fri - 8. 30-14. 00 (5 hrs)
Term time only 36 weeks + 3 weeks per year

Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a Beauty Technician (Maternity Cover 1 Year Fixed Term) to join our team.

Beauty Technician The Role:
Are you passionate about beauty therapy and eager to inspire the next generation of therapists? Wiltshire College & University Centre is on the lookout for a dedicated Beauty Technician to join our dedicated team at the Salisbury campus.
As a Beauty Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Beauty salons and theory rooms.
Beauty Technician Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining Salon Efficiency: Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the Beauty salons and theory rooms.
Managing Appointments: Oversee the reception area, assess students on reception duties, and monitor client appointments.
Preparing for Success: Prepare products and equipment for beauty treatments and manage sterilising cabinets and associated materials for classes and salon sessions.
Stock Control: Conduct weekly stock checks to ensure we are well-equipped for all salon activities.
Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, contributing to their individual learning plans.
Client Interaction: Handle general enquiries from students and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Beauty Technician You:
To excel in this role, you should have:
Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the beauty therapy industry.
Qualifications: Level 2/3 in Beauty or equivalent. An Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of current Health and Safety requirements and basic first aid knowledge.
Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Team Player: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to build rapport easily with colleagues, students, and clients.
Commitment to Education: A willingness to contribute to students' learning journeys, helping them gain the knowledge needed to pass their courses successfully.
