Where you ll work: This role is based at the College s Tonbridge campus.
Your hours: 22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
Your pay: 19,076.40 to 24,172.20 per annum pro rata ( 31,794 to 40,287 per annum full time equivalent), depending on teaching, other qualifications and experience.

Working within the Hair & Beauty curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team as a Lecturer in Hairdressing.
You ll be required to prepare, teach and assess at a variety of qualification levels, providing support and guidance to your learners as they progress through their studies. You ll have specialist knowledge of the curriculum area and a formal qualification that underpins this knowledge, which is enhanced by your relevant industry / professional experience.
We need you to be a team player and an excellent communicator, able to maintain a proactive approach and an eye for detail whilst working to challenging deadlines.
Teaching experience, particularly within Further Education, would be advantageous but isn t essential. Likewise, although a full teaching qualification (at Level 5 or above) isn t required at this stage, you would need to secure this within 3 years of appointment.
